We slid into Charlotte after 5pm and got a room at Days Inn for the night. After a few scenic loops of the city, (look rusty big ben, parliment) we found a Japanese steakhouse and finished off the night with saki, sushi & good natured ribbing with the chef on how bad the Carolina Panthers are playing. 10pm Sunday
